Wintering in North Carolina

Haven’t seen any post on weather to remove super or not in mild NC winters. Does anyone have any thoughts on this for a 1st year hive in eastern NC?

Most important question is whether you have nectar flow throughout your mild winter. I suspect that’s unlikely, so I’d guess you should remove the super.

Thanks, I think from what others have said - you leave it on and let
the bees clean it out after the season and then take it off and store it.
