4th year setup in Western Washington

I put the super on today. Both brood boxes are full of bees, so on goes the super.
You may notice we have added the windows to the brood boxes. This really helps with monitoring the hive. We are in western Washington so I have the hive in our equipment shed. You will also notice the quilt box full of wood shaving and made from 2x4, this is a must in our rainy environment.

Very nice setup, well done!

Very cool! Wishing you a fast-filling super! What’s flowering in your parts now?

Mostly trees and shrubs. They are bringing in bright orange and bright yellow.I put the super on mostly to relieve the crowding in the brood boxes. They were very snug in there.
