I have 8 frame langstroth flow supers (with 6 flow frames) and I have a 10 frame langstroth brood box I would like to use it on. Could I make a cover (since the brood box is wider than the flow super) and put the 8 frame flow super on top even if it is smaller? I hope I am explaining myself…

I think @Michael_Bush has done something like that many years ago. I believe his solution was simply to place a strip of 1x2" (approx 5cm wide) lumbar along one edge of the flow super. That way it can be easily removed for brood box inspections. Perhaps not pretty, but simple, cheap, effective and easily reversible!
