Tragic news. But is helpful to know that soil composition re potassium and pH prevents cesium uptake. Thanks for another deeply relevant article, Alan.
For clarification, lower soil pH increases Cs-137 uptake (max uptake @pH4-5)
Hard to change soil pH and soil potassium over the forage area of bees but eating potassium rich foods can also decrease the rate that your body absorbs Cs as well.

oranges
cantaloupe
honeydew
apricots
grapefruit
Some dried fruits
Cooked spinach, broccoli
Potatoes & Sweet potatoes
Mushrooms
Peas
Cucumbers
Etc…
