Don’t almonds bloom very early in the year when the bees will use what little nectar they produce for themselves?
It is spring there so almonds may already be in bloom
Thanks for the heads-up. I have heard that thefts are on the rise and the demand for bees is at an all time high. I was in the bee supply shop yesterday and there’s not much of any supplies compared to previous years. So keep an eye on your gear if you can.
