Here I was, thinking that Langstroth frames were internationally accepted and standardized.
But I guess I was wrong. According to Dave Cushman there are ninety sub species, some of which are totally incompatible with each other. 
There really should be a proper international standard.
I must have about 6 or more subspecies at this point! I agree - standard measurements would be helpful!!
In reality most frames made for the varieties of Langstroth fit anything.
I’m all for standard measurements but they won’t work unless they are metric measurements… no one outside the US and parts of the UK would accept imperial!
