Chasing new mated queens after cyclone Oma, Gold Coast QLD

I had a proper go at splitting my 3 hives to 6.

The new queens mating flight period was coincidently right smack bang in the middle of cyclone Oma. Oma god, 3 queenless splits riding on the back of my other queenright hives combined with rain and cold weather for the week following.

So…where to find any queens at this time of the year?
Kind regards

Hi Dylan, just wondering how you went with getting queens? Where did you get them from? How successful was it? Are they all still alive?

Cheers
