Checking the hives after bad Summer foraging and having to feed

Both my hives threw out the drones and had a brood break - they have since built up and capped several arches of Syrup Honey and started laying again. I did clock they were not brining in enough Pollen - That is what first alerted me and that the stores were going down not up - the weather here has gone from bad to worse to Crap.

Partly why I’ve invested in many pollen rich bee friendly plants, Recently got several thousand seeds of wild and perennial flowers, Manuka (Jelly Bush and Tea Tree seeds also) and Heather plants.

My garden in Spring is usually pretty good for foragers but next year I will hopefully have a profusion of food for them

Good job! From what I could see in your video, you have a big backyard, so with the right plants you should be able to almost sustain you bees fully.

You can only see 60odd feet of backyard. There is another 30odd feet behind the trellis and my green house somewhere in the jungle
