Cleaning the Flowhive smoker - anyone have some tips? The funnel get clogged but you can’t clean it out because there is a gate / filter so can’t get in there to scrape it out. Any tips?
It would be handy to se a photo. I can’t understand how that can happen. I use pine needles and there is only ever just fine ash inside, which I simply tip out. I did see a post where someone was cleaning their smoker with water, which is a very bad idea - it just leads to rust and possibly clogging (if there is a filter).

Blocked with creosote? I just use my propane torch to heat it and and burn it off. I tend to do it towards the end of the season, around my last few inspections. This way it is ready for the next season.
there is a product in the UK called KOH, loads use it to clean the wood burning stove glass, it eats through creosote and staining, how you get it in there is up to you ?
