Doing a hive inspection today I dropped a whole frame of honey on the ground… I feel terrible but is there anything I should be worried about after dropping it on the ground?
Did it fall out of the comb? Or was it a flow frame? Just get the big chunks of dirt off and put it back in, the bees will fix it and clean it up.
It didn’t break out of the comb but my thumb went through the comb as I attempted to catch it on the way down. I brushed it off and put it back in. Honey went everywhere but the bees are cleaning that up.
It will be fine! They’ll get it cleaned up and fixed.
