Emptying Flow Frames for Winter

I’m about to prepare my hives for the winter lockdown (6 weeks away). I have a Flow Super that will have spare uncapped honey and I’d like to feed it back to the bees to assist them in the winter.

Can I just put it in a top feeder or frame feeder for them to use?

Yes you can. I would put it in the freezer until you intend to feed it to them though, as uncapped honey may have a higher water content than is needed to prevent fermentation. Unlike humans, drunk bees are not happy bees! :rofl:
