On checking my hive today I noticed and killed at least 10 European Wasps that were attacking the hive. Does anyone have any advice to get rid of them?
Hi Albearhoney, I would suggest (if you haven’t already) immediately reducing the entrance size down so the bees can get them better as they land ( it is great to see the bees reach out for them as they come in). I have reduced the entrances on my hives at the moment and it seems to help with the wasps. I have read that they can be a real problem - and have the potential to kill a hive.
