Feeding a new nuc

Trying to prep for new nuc, which, of course, will probably arrive about when our vacation starts which we planned before deciding to adopt bees. While only gone about 10 days, we realize we need to make feeding arrangements. Totally noob so not sure how long the hive top feeder syrup would last. 2.5 gallons of syrup in the Ceracell. Any suggestions? A beekeep friend will tend to it but she has a totally different rig and also newish so not sure what to plan.

2.5 gallons should be plenty for 10 days. The nuc should have some frames of honey in it too, so they will not starve while you are gone.
