Hello all. Does the Flowhive super have a queen excluder built in? I am thinking of adding one to my traditional boxes.
Not built in - you use your regular queen excluder below it.
Hives with built-in excluders (Prokopovich, circa 1813) are regarded as a bit dated. These days, the latest and greatest technology is a detachable queen excluder (Hanneman, circa 1851)
