At our last bee club meeting the speaker, Bear Kelley, who is the former President of Georgia Beekeepers Association, related a bit to us about the Georgia Prison Beekeeping Program.

The program is VERY well received by the inamtes and it is heartening to see that EVERYONE that attempts to become a certified beekeeper through the University of Georgia’s program, captive audience jokes aside, passes the test!

Good article on prison beekeeping Bobby… I’m sure any help n distraction is more than useful. Especially if it helps imates gain a notable skill like beekeeping.
