Harvested frames but wax capping still there

Bit confused. Yesterday my viewing windows confirmed that the frames were fully waxed and capped.
So, yesterday I harvested frames 1 and 7 and harvested 7.2 kg of perfect honey. Refractometer confirmed same.
However, when I checked my hive this morning I see that the wax capping is still in tact.
What does this mean?

That they haven’t got around to removing it yet. When it is warm enough, and they need the space, they will remove the cappings. Don’t fret, it just upsets the bees… :wink:
