I am new to this, always wanted to become a beekeeper. Can’t wait to learn more and hopefully get started with a hive next year.

Welcome aboard the Flow Forum.
Not sure how far north you are but bees don’t leave the hive except to go potty when the outside temperature is below 50 degrees F. Do you know any beekeepers in Alaska?
I live in Hawaii and pretty much the opposite is true here with the bees being able to forage year round. Anyway, good luck to you and I wish you success with this fascinating hobby!
