Hello from Denver!

Hi all,

I’m new here and new to beekeeping. I live outside Denver, Colorado, and have one hive. They were a rescue hive from a swarm/colony that set up house inside my friend’s garage rafters. We moved them in late April and I think they are making themselves at home.

I look forward to learning from you all. Thank you for this forum. It makes me feel less alone in this crazy, fun hobby.

Hello! Hooray for another Colorado beek! Welcome and congrats on the new hive, especially from a swarm! I’m in Broomfield and just started with 2 nucs this spring. We have some other Colorado beekeepers as well. Checkout the Connect with Locals area for the Colorado Beekeepers thread.
