Hello — New to beekeeping. I’m located in Atlanta, purchased nuc from local beekeeper in April. Sometime in July the hive beetles completely took over my hive. I wanted to know if this can be cleaned…the brood box I’ve seen videos on how to throughly clean and torch. But the flow super can these be properly cleaned enough or do I need to just purchase a new one? Figuring out best way to start over.
Here are more details on how bad it is… 
Purchased 5 frame nuc locally in April. Did checks, bees were doing well. Had made new honey / honey comb in brood box on outer empty frames. Had moved up to the super and were working away. At the end of June I noticed 3-4 hive beetles in the crack of the door of the flow super, when I opened it to check on bees. At that time that’s all I noticed. Of course I got rid of those few beetles I saw before placing door back. I went out of town for a month, with no one to check on bees in between. When I got back July 31st my colony was gone 
, honey gone, the smell of fermented honey. Brood box was empty, cells empty. Bottom tray was filled with dead bees and some dead beetles. Pretty devastating. Noticed all the larvae from beetles in the bottom tray. I’ve taken everything apart and cleaned. I’ve thrown out the frames. It’s just the super, do I need to toss out as well…and purchase new?
And, when I was on vacation I did look up several videos and read forums on how to prevent, and stop hive beetles in the future. I definitely didn’t have any preventative measures up against them.
