Just wondering if anyone’s noticed where their bees start depositing honey in the flow frames? Mine fill from right to left (looking from harvest side) not from centres out.

One thing I’ve learned about bees, is they often don’t follow our rules. Mostly, they’ll fill supers from the centre out. Sometimes mine fill from the sunny side across depending on time of year. I’ve also noticed that they prefer to leave the window frame until last. They’ve even moved honey from the window side after I’ve had a peek.
Every colony has its own personality and do things their own way… as long as they store honey in the super, things are good.
