So what stops your queens laying brood in your supers ? I can see that a QE makes sense. But I’m new and learning with really new tech. So far everything is gong really well. Should I rob another frame. just to give them space? They are still going hard.
My queens lay whereever they want. By autumn they usually pull back to the bottom boxes and I can harvest. However, you need a QE with a flow box or the cacoons mess up the frames.
