Making foundation

I want to make my own foundation, and want to know if I can use 2 smaller sheets of wax to fill the frame, I have a problem getting a big enough tray to melt wax in (electric fry pan). Has any one experience with this. Thanks Bill

Hi Will, I can’t see anything wrong with using two smaller sheets, tough probably not ideal.

I had a few broken sheets that I used, and I never heard a single bee complain. Once they draw their own comb, you’ll never know.

Thanks for that st^ng, the good wife won’t let me use this electric fry pan so I had to go buy my own baking dish, which is smaller than the full size frames. Will just have to put in 2 pieces to fill frame. Thanks Bill
