My new Book... Melissa

As some of you will know I have written a book about a bee. The book is called “Melissa”.

Melissa the name comes from the Greek word μέλισσα (mélissa), “honey bee”, which in turn comes from μέλι (meli), “honey”. In Hittite melit signifies “honey”.

The Story is intended for 10 – 14 year olds with a basic education in the workings of a bee hive told from the point of view of a worker bee called Melissa.

This fanciful story is written using words that the bees understand, because of course they don’t speak our language. So we are taken in the the bee mind set and see the world from their point of view.

No it is sold through Blurb sorry Gerald

Very cute, Valli - I got a giggle out of Melissa’s comment about her drone brothers, “If they find a wife we never see them again”! Oh dear :flushed:
