Nectar flow beginning in SoCal? 😉

#1

Well, data from our Arnia hive scale suggests that the urban nectar flow has probably started here in San Diego, California about 3 days ago. The main blooms that I can see are citrus (orange, lemon, limes) and avocado. Rosemary and lavender bloom almost year round. Various succulents are also flowering after the recent rains. It would be very nice to get a harvest this year, so fingers crossed!

Great to see! Those scales are fabulous to keep an eye on the nectar flow.
