Im new to Flowframes and beekeeping- and have only just added my flowframe super.
Curious to know how the flowframes are protected from pests- as the removable wood to access the flowframes to collect the honey, doesnt have a complete seal. It seems to have a lot of potential to allow pests in the frames. Especially if you deicde to not use all the flowframes and instead place a wooden frame…
Has anyone else noticed this?
Can you post a photo of the area of concern? Sometimes there can be gaps but they can be sorted easily

Big gaps can become a problem, but if your colony is strong they will deal with incursions.
