Selling Honey

The Kilner is the same size as the Yorkshire from Aldi 8Lt

We have Aldi in ther US too. They are all over! So, are you using a drink dispenser when you tap into the Flow Frames? I was just going to use an old 1/2 gallon mason jar. I like your idea better.

I did ask Cedar where they get their nice big jars from and got no reply as yet. When Stephen mentioned the British Aldi doing these jars for drink dispensing I realised it would kill 2 birds with one stone - Firstly as a collection Jar and secondly as a dispensing/display jar especially for “Selling Honey On Tap”

Does anyone know where the really nice big jars they use come from??

If you have any friends in the restaurant business, often pickles, mayonnaise, stuffed olives etc all come in really nice 1 gallon glass jars that could be very easily re-purposed for honey storage. They throw them away so they’d also likely be free.

Over here they tend to come in plastic, but I like your thinking!

Even if they are plastic I don’t think that would be a problem, it all has to be food grade plastic.

Thinking more of display/dispensing not storing. Glass will always look better
