Sharing my bees!

Hi Gerald, thank you for your quick and detailed replies with photos.
I’m in the Macedon Ranges, Victoria, Australia. I have not found a local
supplier for wooden drawer pollen traps, and can only find the protruding
front entrance plastic Chinese variety here.

The Brushy Mountain online catalogue has the one you’ve got, I think,
though your photos are much clearer.
I’ll check out the postage cost with Brushy…

Is there a way that drones can exit with this Brushy mountain model? I
can’t see any larger exits in the Chinese variety, though have seen some
with finals or tubes to admire one way exits. May be the idea is to deploy
them only intermittently, for a few days each week, leaving the pollen
stripping entrance open/ inoperable most of the time.
Interesting,.
Thank you once again.
Regards,
Cat

Catherine,

I do not believe I had any problem with this pollen traps or drones.

Here are a few more pixs of my 8 frame wide.

Cat, hope these extra pix’s will help decide. Take care young lady.
