Some photos Of Bees I think are Native

A couple of shot just this hour taken on one of our Gevilleas.

The size of the bee is not very evident in the photo.

However you can see the difference in size to (probably) our bees in this photo.

I am not very patient and while there were masses of these little jobs happily co existing on the flower head with the larger cousins it was hard to get a close up with both bees together.

I’m wondering if insects in the top photo are native wasps. One of the 12,000 species native to Australia.

I just don’t know :thinking:
But by crickey the girls are bringing pollen by the leg load. Very orange so I suspect grevillea. I have about 5 varieties flowering their guts out.

The only thing I was going by was the skinny waist.
