This Saturday, you can catch Flow™ Hive’s Research Manager, Emily Grace at the Tocal Beekeepers Field Day for a special Flow™ Hive update at 3pm. Hear about the invention of the Flow™ Hive, how to use it and some of the current Flow™ research projects. Join in on the Question & Answer session to have your Flow™ Hive questions answered.
Whether you are an experienced beekeeper or just starting out, there’s sure to be something to interest you.
Enjoy practical demonstrations of inspecting hives for disease, honey extraction and native stingless beehives. Hear from guest speakers on the topics of native bees, biosecurity, rearing quality queens and of course, the Flow™ Hive. There will also be a Flow™ Hive on display.
There’s some great topics for beginner beekeepers including opening beehives and the pillars of beekeeping.
Taking place from 8.45am to 4pm in the Tocal main hall and in the field, food and coffee will be available all day.
Admission is free, so come along and meet the beekeepers!
