Uncapped pupae - what's going on?

Hey knowledge base,

I requeened my hive 2 weeks ago after it was hopelessly Queenless. New queen has been doing amazing, lots of eggs, larvae and capped brood. I opened up the hive for an inspection today and it was mostly positive however I noticed a couple of worker cells that looked like they had been uncapped early?? Or were the in the process of capping still? See photos but out of all the cells there were maybe 10 like this and there was a patch on one frame where there was a light coloured streak though it. Is this anything to be concerned about?

Cheers.

Likely still capping. I don’t see anything to worry about in your photos.

Thanks @Dawn_SD still learning this crazy world and noticed something different to everything else haha. Google for hive issues is worse than google doctor for human symptoms hahaha. Appreciate the feedback.

Great pics, thanks for sharing.

Update for anyone interested, while doing more learning after finding a couple of Wax Moths in my pest tray I stumbled across my answer to the above I think.

The white stips across some of the brood appears to have been the wax moth larvae moving around. Same with the uncapped brood, the cells could have had wax moth eggs and the good workers were getting rid of it. That all lines up the the couple of moths I found so now to stay on top of that! Thankfully the moths and larvae appear to have been thrown down to the pest tray and no issues in the brood box that I can see but let’s hope the bees stay on top of it.

Cheers all
