Varroa Mite Treatment and Flow Hive

My question is some mite treatments suggest using a closed bottom box for varroa treatment. Flow Hives are designed to have a screened bottoms. What are you doing to close the bottom of the hive while treating for mites?

Welcome to the forum, HanaleiGal.
The Flow design makes it easy compared to other brands that don’t have a built in tray. With the Classic Flow, sliding the corflute in the top position will close it. The Flow2 tray is adequate when in its home position.

If you’re using FormicPro, remove any entrance reducers and have at least six frames of bees.
