What is this in the Cell?

After doing a inspection yesterday i was looking at the photos that my wife took
& noticed something in one of the cells.
if you look half way down on the right side you will notice what looks like two white
shapes in one cell. it looks like it might just be pollen that a bee has put there before i disturbed

the hive by opening it.
at first i thought it might be SHB larvae.
what are your thoughts?

You are right. 2 pollen baskets.

I reckon Bobby is spot on there too. Pollen baskets that haven’t yet been packed down. Its definitely a pollen cell.

looks to be a food frame, nectar/honey and pollen. Was it on the outside of the hive? From what i’ve seen they usually put them towards the outside to insulate the hive.
