Hello everyone,

I have today a total of 6 Flow Hives, going to be 12 Flow Hives next Spring. This is my first year and will be the first winter.

All my Flow Hives are double Deep. The Flow Supers have been removed.

Question:

What are the best techniques to Winterize the Flow Hives.

  1. Should we do something on the bottom board? Add a layer of insulation? Seal it?
  2. The inner cover, do we need to keep or remove the plug and add a quilt box or a top layer of insulation?
  3. How bad is condensation on the flow hives?

Any tips will be much appreciated.
