Anyone in Christchurch (NZ) happy to guide me through with the Flow Hive?

Hi there,

I’m in West Melton, Christchurch. Looking into setting up a Flow Hive and wondering if there’s anyone near me that can guide me through it?

Hi Chwee
There’s a couple of options. Try Googling beekeeper clubs in Christchurch. There are a couple, although be aware some club members may be old-school and not helpful with the Flow system of harvesting. They will be very helpful with all other aspects of beekeeping.
The other option, if you can’t find anyone local to help, is to spend time watching the many videos put out by the Flow team on YouTube. I found them very helpful.

Hi Chwee, welcome to the forum. Hopefully you’ll find a local mentor. If not, don’t despair, with Flow reaching a decade next year, some of us die-hards, even old schoolers with a lot of Flow experience, plus many observations over the past decade are only too willing to help.

Thanks Clint. I do know there are many who still have not bought into the Flow hive way of beekeeping. Will definitely be watching the videos and reading info on beekeeping to keep up. :grin:
