I am currently treating Varroa with Formic Pro. I’m 10 days in and it’s going well.
However, I have noticed 000’s of consistently formed ‘fibers’ on the bottom board.
I’m wondering if they are some sort of mite. I’ve blown up a picture to show the size against a varroa.

You have one varroa mite and probably a load of pollen anthers from plants in that photo. It is hard to be sure because of the oil, but they look like the pollen-producing parts of plants, which are often harvested by bees along with the pollen they produce.

i could only provide one photo so selected the blown up pic with the varroa for size comparison.
We have had hundreds of varroa drop and 000’s of these ‘fibers’
