I like to pull out the vintage Super 8 movie camera every once in a while and shoot some ‘old skool’ motion picture film footage. I put together some random scenes from spring and summer here in the northeast US, which include some shots of my four Flow Hives in action.

I love the effect of the bees entering the hive. Is it slow motion or just the effect of that type of camera?
Yes, it is slow motion. 64fps which is a factor of 3 over the normal 18fps for the movie camera (fps = frames per second in case that wasn’t obvious).
