Hello beekeepers!
I am new to beekeeping and currently have one hive which seem to be great and buzzing happily!
Today I wanted to check my bottom board to see if I can tell what’s going on in my hive without opening it up and disturbing my bees when I noticed this tight ball of some brown, wet, waxy substance (at least it was until I started digging into it with a toothpick to try to figure out what it was 
). Any ideas on what it could be?
