I watched a YouTube video from Frederick Dunn. I have a low profile internal feeder but it still wasnt low enough for the gabled roof. The video shows cutting a deep to make a super and leaving enough of a shim to place on top of the internal cover. So i bought a deep and did just that. The gabled roof sets perfectly. Great hack

That is a good hack! I keep a bunch of shims on hand because they’re useful for a few things, like creating a deep out of a medium in a pinch.
