Buying a Nuc in Northside Brisbane

Hi
I’m northside Brisbane at Bunya and looking to start a Flow hive and need a nuc. I’d really appreciate any suggestions.

The best advice I can give you is to wait till the end of August into September when you will find nucs available. Even our mild Winter isn’t the best time for a nuc to expand to become a healthy colony. In August/September you will find nucs available on this site within a reasonable distance from you…

I bought mine from Deborah at Two Busy Bees honey at Geebung. A bit more expensive but Deborah and her Dad came and helped me put it in - priceless for a first timer.
