Complete Hive question

#1

Is the complete hive kit an 8 frame or a 10 frame box?

#2

Depends which one you ordered? Have you ordered or are you wanting to order?
http://www.honeyflow.com/about-flow/complete-full-flow-hive/p/65 Complete Flow Boxes and all 6 Frame (langtroth 8)

If you ordered a Full 6 Flow & Box that would normally hold 8 Frames
If you ordered a Full 7 Flow & Box that would normally hold 10 Frames

If you ordered a Light Flow - 3 Flow & Box that would normally hold 8 Frames
If you ordered a Light Flow - 4 Flow & Box that would normally hold 10 Frames

The perk from the campaign says it comes with 6 flow frames so I am going to guess it is an 8 frame hive.

Wish we had had the option as Indiegogo contributors to get the 10 frame as my other hive is that size. :frowning:

#6

If you haven’t received your order I bet you could arrange to change it to the 10 frame super and aquire the brood box etc. yourself.

#7

I have had my Flow for a few weeks now and have just opened the boxes.
I want to start assembly of the unit but I have not seen any assembly directions.
Please advise ?

#8

Mine were on top of the box. But I have heard that some boxes were packed where the instructions were slid in under the screen bottom board, check there.

#9

Search the bottom board, they are often between layers. If you can’t find it let me know and we will send you a pdf ; -)

#10

Thank you for your quick reply. The wood is beautiful and really smells good too.

#11

I have looked meticulously and cannot find any assembly directions.
Please send them to me via email - pdf as you suggested.
Thank you
