I just took my super off my brood box, was initially planning on putting the individual honey frames in the freezer for the winter, then thought, could I put just wrap the whole box and put it all in the freezer? Would it harm the little plastic windows and/ or the wood?
Hello and welcome to the Flow forum! ![]()
The freezer won’t hurt the wood or plastic. It is great if you have space! The Flow frames may still drip (honey doesn’t really freeze, it just gets very thick), so you might want to put some plastic underneath them. ![]()
Thank you for the advise! I was lucky enough what little honey that was left was all capped, so I’m patiently draining it out in the house before I freeze them for the winter. May take the entire weekend…lol. Happy beekeeping

It will be the best honey ever if it is that viscous! Worth giving it time too, well done ![]()
