And so my journey begins. My Beek mentor and I have transferred a full colony of 8 healthy frames into my new Flowhive 2+ last night and they’ve settled in overnight. Now emerging as the sun settles on the hive and orientating nicely. We were a bit concerned as they have only been relocated a km or so and will be monitoring very closely. Will remove the branches covering the entrance tonight and see how we go.

Nice one. You might like to put an empty box in the original location to ‘catch’ any returning foragers. They will congregate there and you can relocate them all at once at night to their new location, and hopefully they stay.
