I’ve been having trouble finding a liquid feeder that will fit on top of my flow hive two. the roof doesn’t really allow a full sized feeder so I’m wondering what modifications people have made to the flow hive to get them to work with feeders?

Just put an empty brood box or super on top of the crown board, and put your feeder in that. Simple is good.
There are also lots of DIY feeding options that will work under the roof. Some zip lock bags with pin holes work quite well and are versatile in where they can be placed. Cedar goes over some option for a Flow Hive here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=00qT8O2MyxQ
