I hope you have some good cushioning for your backside… ![]()
So far I’ve typed three replies and had to delete each one so I didn’t offend anyone…

Sitting on a fence isn’t all it’s cracked up to be…
Pardon the pun.
Back in the 80’s working for the Power Company clearing trees under the power lines the dozer had just pushed a huge box tree, the driver wanted me to bring the saw, so I was straddling the fence, Barbed wire, when bees went in under my hard hat and stung my head, the driver being allergic and a big chicken, locked the cab, so I had to drive back to town to get help, 9 stings, not fun !
Hi Isabelle
Yes, I agree with the 100%, buying online (ebay) is much cheaper and the quality is quite often identical. I have noticed though that sometimes the items do not arrive, and after up to a 30 day wait, that is frustrating. I have had to have the Chinese resend, wait another 30 days to realise that it did not arrive again, then ask for a refund, then go to the local supplier cause the parts were long overdue.
This practise is a bit risky during the flow season when time is critical, best done in the quiet season.
Yes I agree. I had 4 refunds from Chinese sellers in the first few months of 2016. I now avoid them and use Australian sellers unless the there is no alternative. The bit more money saves me a little of the hair I have left.
Hows Bridgetown shaping this year. I am at the moment of the “We’ll all be rooned said Hanrahan if we don’t get blossom soon” school. The Redgum buds looks so patchy and sparse. The odd bit of blossom is out but very thin.
Sorry @Schnucki confused you with someone else in the West. Bad busso
Hi Busso, I only heard that song, or is it a poem? on the ABC just recently.
Yes a poem by Australian poet John O’Brien. You’ll like it Jeff I learnt it at school and knew it off by heart. Now only some of it. Look it up here(copy and paste the address below into your browser).

G’day Busso, I guess from that handle you are from Busselton? I am in Bridgetown and looking for local club/support/mentor etc before I populate my hive. Any information also about where to purchase a nuc in WA.
Andrew
Good day Andrew,
I got a 5 frame NUC from" The Bee Shop" 29 Moortown Rd Albany.
Phone 98416192.
He moves his hives to the Northcliffe area about this time every year. I took a brood box there (to Northcliffe)and he transferred the frames to my box from the NUC so no NUC cost. You may be lucky give him a ring
Cheers Busso, will call him.
My friend just purchased from China and received suit with broken zipper oh yes they will refund BUT he was not allowed to order anything else from their company AND the cost to ship it BACK to China 1/2 the cost of the suit. I will pay for local quality and better return policy.
