No way I am going guarantor But I will say this: Flow delivered some 20 million plus AUD worth of orders to customers all over the world. I havenāt heard of anyone who didnāt get their flow hive. That in itself was a huge feat of logistics. I donāt see them going under and failing to deliver a 10K order just now. but like all things: Caveat Emptor.
On the other side of the ledger- do you think paypal will go guarantor for Flow if a 10K overseas buyer initiates a credit card chargeback after the goods have been delivered? The answer is no- they most definitely wonāt. I have been trading online for almost 15 years now- I would rarely accept such a large payment from an unknown OS buyer via paypal- itās just too risky.
The fact is there are risks for sellers and buyers- and those risks increase with the distance between the two parties- and the scale of the transaction. The first risk is always with the buyer- they must send payment first- itās up to them to do their homework and trust the seller.
My only point is that I can understand the flow position here- and assuming both parties are of good faith I am sure they will be able to sort it out.
