SmartHive Controller System

I Have been seeing alot of these hive monitors on the net and having a rather extensive interest and knowledge for electronics and micro controllers, know I can easily build one myself to measure the internal and external temp/humidity, etc…

I am thinking of taking it further and automating functions such as ventilation for the hive… Who thinks this would be a great idea?

If I was to get something like this setup would anyone be interested in using such a system?

I have that already… They are called bees!

Seriously though, people have tried some automated ventilation, but I think the evidence seems to point towards bees doing better when they have control. I am all for monitoring though, and I love my Arnia Hive Monitor.

Bees do it better
