Well done Jessica, that’s a great result. It was the markings on the abdomen that had me convinced in the first place. Or lack of stripes to be more precise.
On the more recent queen photo I identified the larger thorax as the main identifying factor. In this photo, all the thorax’s look the same size. That was the main reason I wanted to revisit this photo, to compare thorax’s.

There were no queens pictured or circled. They were all workers.
