I just installed my first nuc and my bees are packing in the pollen and nectar from the sassafras trees which are in full bloom and I have several of them on my property. Do you think the taste of sassafras honey will bee good??? Can’t wait to find out. Hopefully I will get to try it before the summer is over.
@Chrisb53 I suppose the taste will leave you quite ecstatic… (considering what substance is produced from sassafras oil). 
We will see. Actually, it will probably be a mix of what I have around me, which is sassafras, honeysuckle, clover, alphalfa, wild cherry trees, etc. Should be good. The only honey that I have ever tasted is store bought, so I can’t wait.
