Vaporising oxalic acid - are bottom screen and tray sealed enough?

Hi everyone,

I’m about to start vaporising for varroa with oxalic acid in my flow hive 2.

Is the metal bottom mesh screen and plastic bottom tray enough to seal the bottom part of the hive before I start?

Is it best to put the vapour in through the hive entrance? Thank you!

Yes and yes. I usually seal around the vaporizer with a tea towel, to keep the vapor in the hive for 10 mins or so. If you have a Flow 2, be sure to close the rear vents too.
