IS there anyone in the SE suburbs that will be-open to have a look at a flow hive setup in a suburban area or back yard setup?
Also any courses you can recomend?

Hi Kiwioz! Just in relation to courses - I am not in Victoria (I’m in SA) but I was given advice by beekeepers to do the Varroa Mite online course before it becomes compulsory (and while it is free). I have attached the link below, it is an SA website, but has two links to the free Australian courses provided. I found it to be informative and useful and given that Varroa is most likely here to stay, sadly it sounds like it won’t be much longer until we have to deal with them in our hives.
